Experience an awe-inspiring luxury safari with us, flying from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park, also known as Selous Game Reserve). This trip will offer you extraordinary landscape and aero views of rivers, lakes, and animals. You will also indulge in cultural activities conducted by the local communities living near the park.
Day 1: Flight from Zanzibar and full-day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
Following your early morning breakfast, our professional driver will pick you up from the Hotel for a transfer to Zanzibar International Airport where you will depart for Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you will be picked up for your full day’s game drive by our professional driver guide.
At noon, you will have a picnic lunch and rest. Once done, you will continue with the game drive until sunset, arriving at Selous Safari Lodge for camp fire, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Enjoy a bushman walking safari, sightseeing boat trip and village tour
Enjoy the morning at leisure. Your first activity for today is a three hour village tour which starts at 10amMloka village. You will be back at the camp for lunch, after which you will enjoy the afternoon at leisure. At 4:00 PM you will head out for a boat ride on Rufiji Riveruntil sunset, after which you will return back Selous Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Maasai Culture Tour & Flying to Zanzibar
Have breakfast and leave for the Maasai Village for a two hours cultural tour focusing on the Masai Culture. Return to the lodge for lunch and rest. You will have a two hours rest after which you will be picked up to Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar around 04PM.
Upon arrival, our driver will drop you off at your Hotel.
